About Us
We are Living Goods, a business specialising in all things fermented. We want to highlight the wonderful and diverse world of fermented food and drinks to the people of Nottingham and hopefully further.
Fermentation started as a hobby for us, making regular batches of Kimchi, Sauerkraut and Kombucha. It was only after reading the Noma Projects guide to fermentation that our eyes were opened to just how versatile fermentation can be and the variety of ways it can be used in cooking. Whilst we adore what the guys over at Noma are doing, it can feel a touch inaccessible to the everyday fermenter. Not sure how many of you have access to a centrifuge or a team of 30 fermenters but we personally don’t!
Livings Goods hopes to bring you the best tasting ferments you’ve ever tried through a variety of pop ups and retail sales.

Menu
This menu is designed to take you through a journey of various forms of fermentation.
Each dish is comprised of minimal ingredients to allow the magic of fermentation to shine through.
Sourdough
Ambigu Sourdough served with oil and balsamic.
Seasonal Pickles
Seasonal vegetables, preserved in our secret pickling mix.
Miso Potatoes, Preserved Chimichurri and Celeriac Puree.
Potatoes tossed in a sweet miso sauce, on a bed of celeriac puree, drizzled with Chimichurri and pickled red onions.
Triple Kimchi
Tender-stem broccoli tossed in house-made kimchi butter, garnished with kimchi dust and a portion of kimchi.
Seasonal Greens, Zatar Chickpease and Blood Orange Kombucha Syrup
Seasonal greens, topped with roasted Tatar chickpeas and drizzled with a blood orange and sumac kombucha syrup.
Miso Caramel Brownie
Miso caramel brownie served with ice cream and a miso caramel sauce.
